Description: Up for sale is a outstanding Stanley #4 Type 9 (1902-1907) The plane is super nice with no damage anywhere. The tote and knob are perfect and have their beautiful original patina. The iron has the Q logo which is correct for the type. The frog has the low arch. The grooved sole looks great with no marks. The iron is 7 1/8" long. Looking at the sole and the length of the blade I don't think this plane saw much use. The tote and knob barly have mark on them. I bought several planes from an old time collector and will be listing them over the next several days, so check out my other auction.
