Description: Albert Brenet was the official artist for the French Navy and Air Force, starting in 1936. He traveled by sea often, always carrying his sketchbook and documenting scenes both on the water and of life on board. He created many commemorative and promotional posters. This poster was created for an ocean liner of the Messageries Maritimes, which was a French merchant shipping company. This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. This poster is conservation mounted, linen backed, and in excellent condition. We guarantee the authenticity of all of our posters. This measures 12.75" x 19.75" (32cm x 50cm) We have been collecting original, vintage posters for 30 years, and have decided to sell some of our inventory at very attractive prices. Please look through our offerings and let us know if you have any questions. We are only offering ORIGINAL VINTAGE POSTERS -- no restrikes, reprints, or reproductions.
