ORIGINAL LIONEL 1505WS ORIGINAL BOXED 2046,2046W STEAM FREIGHT SET @ 1953

Description: ***Here is an excellent condition, +70 year old, Original Postwar Lionel Set from 1953. This No. 1505WS, headed by the No. 2046 4-6-4 Hudson Style Steam Locomotive that has Magnetraction®; Smoke and No. 2046W Lionel Lines whistling tender. The consist is: No. 6464-1 Western Pacific silver Boxcar; No. 6415 Sunoco 3-Dome silverTank Car; No. 6462 NYC black Gondola with 5@ barrels and the No. 6357 Illuminated SP-style maroon Caboose. This one owner set came out of a home and was just well taken care of. There is an anomaly in this set. Look carefully at the No. 6462 NYC Gondola as IT IS PAINTED BLACK ON A CLEAR SHELL AND IS STAMPED ON ONE SIDE ONLY! Factory mistakes are quite unique! Please enjoy the photos to appreciate the care taken by the previous owner. All of the items have nice Original Boxes. There are a couple of rectifiable issues: The No. 6019 Uncoupler/Operating Track needs to be rewired; I repaired a rear step on the No. 2046W whistling tender; there are no box inserts for the locomotive or tender. As is the case for all of our items they have not been tested.
