Description: Here is an original Harley Davidson FL 74" Panhead front cylinder. It was bored .060 over and never installed. There was a motorcycle/machine shop that closed many years ago. I purchased a lot of cylinders from a warehouse auction reseller. All shovel except this one. There are no date/code numbers so that means it was cast in 48 or 49. It could have originally come from an early 1950 model. Please note that there is no oil drain return hole inside the cylinder. This one has it on the outside. (see pics) Only 52 and earlier had the return hole on the outside. The only issue I can see is the top fin has a chunk missing (see last pic) This would be the easiest one to fix. Just weld in a new piece on top and grind it smooth. It will be hidden with the head installed anyway. Please look at all 11 pictures.
