Description: Two nice original oil paintings by artist "GILDELATORRE." Known for painting redwoods. My parents purchased these in Southern California, I believe in the early or late 70's. I remember the paint was still a tad wet when they bought them as they were done with an "impasto" technique so they have kind of a 3D effect. These have been in my family ever since and have only had one owner. I have kept them in a clean smoke free home all these years. This is a set of two (diptych) with size of each measuring 12 X 16 with frames measuring 14 x 18. . Each has a nice reddish wooden frame which are in excellent shape. There is a tiny bit of fading on one of the paintings (see photos) but overall they still look good considering their age.
