Description: Vintage Harrison Fisher Illustration - Original tipped in book plate of girl with an open book while she is relaxing in a hammock. This is an actual book plate and not a reproduction. It was taken from a decrepit book whose binding was shot. Some pages and bookplates were missing but some were salvaged.The illustrations in the book did not have names on the pictures but postcards that I have seen of this illustration are titled "Love Lyrics". The book plate is ratted where it was formerly attached to the binding and could easily be trimmed or easily detached as only the top edge is attached. The picture is in good shape except for the one corner has a fold. Please note this in the closeup picture. It may not show if framed without the back plate or if framed either with or without the back plate with a matte wide enough to cover the fold. It measures 11 5/8" by 8 1/8" and the mounting plate measures 9 1/4" by 13".Sold as is.
