Description: ORIGINAL ARTHUR SINGER (1917-1990) 'RIVOLI'S HUMMINGBIRD' PAINTING CREATED FOR FRANKLIN MINT AUDUBON'S WOODLAND BIRDS OF AMERICA This is a great piece. I had a chance to buy quite a few of these but felt that I would be happier just buying the best one of all of them. This is a special painting done by important artist Arthur Singer. For those not familiar with the artist, I have included his biography below. This is a stunning painting that Singer did for the 1980 Franklin Mint Limited Edition plates for Audubon's Woodland Birds of America. If you google the plate you will see that this is the exact drawing that was made into the plate. I was going to buy one to go along with the painting but figured if the new owner wants one they will find one. A stunning gouache and watercolor on artist's illustration board in a circle with a diameter of 11 inches. Signed lower left. Painting is in stunning as painted condition. Original markings for printing. Titled in pencil below the image. A few color smudges in the margin. Painting also comes with original Franklin Mint Art Archives paper work explaining the history of the piece. Really just an incredible piece. FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES!
