Description: USED Prewar O Gauge E-Unit - 2 Screw Mount: This prewar E-unit is a 4-position, or 4-step type with front 2-screw platform, and upright lever. It is used on steam engines in the few years prior to WW2. Note: This product is not intended for use in diesel engines or tenders. It has a clean, steel frame with focal tarnish here and there, stable platform, working coil, excellent condition drum, New upper and lower reproduction contact fingers; the fingers have tension close to the originals and are not the rigid type. The coil tests to spec and the unit cycles consistently without hang-up. Does not include the 2 mounting screws. The coil post may have some residual surrounding tarnish left after cleaning. The 4 steel tabs for the fiber contact boards have been left straight for ease of assembly/adjustment and will need to be carefully twisted/bent once wiring/soldering is complete.
