Description: Huge Original 1983 WILD STYLE promotional movie Poster US One Sheet from 1982. This poster was produced BEFORE the release of the film in 83. Measures approximately 103cm by 63cm Rare Hip Hop memorabilia! These were only produced in limited numbers locally in 83 to promote the film in NYC. Hence it differs in design from other WILD STYLE posters you may see. Signed by VASTA, who designed of the poster for Charlie Ahearn. (see last photo). You will see his design credit bottom right. This copy was sourced from VASTA himself, hence the signature Frame not included WILD STYLE - the 1983 low budget movie that took Hip Hop culture across the globe. The movie by Charlie Ahearn features THE COLD CRUSH BROTHERS, GRANDMASTER FLASH, FANTASTIC 5, DOUBLE TROUBLE, CHIEF ROCKER BUSY BEE, LEE QUINONES, FAB 5 FREDDY, PATTI ASTOR and more.... The poster itself is in lovely condition with just light rippling (see photos). Edges and corners are nice and crisp, just very light edge dinks but nothing serious whatsoever. Has been framed (as shown in the photos), but this has not affected the poster. I will remove the poster from the frame, and post it rolled in a strong tube mailer. Frame not included.
