It was produced for mechanics, garages and service station staff and is titled "Mechanics handbook 1949. It was published by the Ford Motor Company in the USA in 1948 and is a 35 page booklet that provides a brief guide to the servicing of the 1949 V8 and 6 cylinder cars and has black and white illustrations. This old Ford publication is in solid original condition showing quite a lot of wear from use. The cover pages show some dirty marks, crease, scuffs and surface wear. The stapled binding is still good. The inside pages show stains, dirty marks and creases. Measures approx 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches in size.
