Description: >Offered here is an old and original 1940's-1950's BOYS' CLUB OF AMERICA vintage patch!! Please see both photos, as they are an important part of my description. This vintage embroidered patch measures approximately 4 1/4" x 4" and is guaranteed to be VINTAGE and not a common reproduction. This Boys Club of America patch includes a torch depiction. The patch was obviously used and most likely sewn onto an article of clothing and shows remnants of an adhesive on the reverse. >History: the first Boys' Club (as it was simply known then) was founded in 1860 in Hartford, Connecticut by three women: Elizabeth Hamersley and sisters Mary Goodwin and Alice Goodwin. In 1931, the organization renamed itself the Boys' Club of America. Actor Denzel Washington, a former club member, has been the spokesman for the club for over 25 years. <>Condition: the patch is in "used" condition; please see both photos. There are no funky odors! Please check my eBay feedback and Bid with Confidence - I have Happy Customers with 1,000's of items sold! >Please Read BEFORE Bidding (you may be at a disadvantage if you don't): >Will ship via USPS *Ground Advantage* with tracking for $4.50 (yup, actual ship fee with tracking; I don't risk shipping items like this in a reg. business envelope with a first-class stamp and no tracking like some sellers do!).
