Description: This is a VERY RARE Orange Free State Stamp from 1900. It is SG 110a, the V.R.I. 1s Overprint on the Een Shilling Orange Yellow. This one is used with a cancel present, though it's not very clear. It also has an RPSL Certificate confirming its authenticity. However, it's worth pointing out that the certificate states that the stamp has a "horizontal crease." We've checked the stamp over multiple times with multiple people and for the life of us, we can't find ANY such crease. If there is one at all, it is not apparent, regardless of what the certificate says. See the photos for yourself. We apologize for the glare in one of them, as we were trying to use the flash to illuminate the stamp in a way that would display a crease, and we still couldn't find it. This stamp is used, Very Fine, and valued at L2500 in the Stanley Gibbons Catalogue! This item is over $100 USD so I will ship it using priority mail in the states and registered mail overseas. This is to ensure that it reaches you in a safe and timely manner and includes tracking.
