Description: Beautiful Antique Norton & Fenton Bennington VT I believe is One Gallon Stoneware Jug with handle measures about 9 inches tall Features cobalt blue lettering stamp with the name "NORTON & FENTON BENNINGTON VT" Please view all photos, they help with condition and description. Some wear and small chips here and there but overall in good shape for 100+ year old jug Bennington Vermont was a center for both utility and decorative pottery in 19th century America. Two of these pottery companies were owned by Christopher Fenton and Julius Norton. Being related by marriage they decided to join a partnership. Bad idea.
