I just love the delicate carving on these Chinese vintage beads carved from what I think is shell but honestly i'm not sure. I was given a better explanation of the material recently that it is shell from a giant clam that is ground and stabilized with resin. The color is added to be the color of angel skin. Some are more pink than others. These beads measure approximately 12mm round in size. The design of the carving is carved with the double shou design. These are really beautiful beads!
