If the enclosure is strong enough, STX mount can be attached to any surface and provide a strong, flexible mount to provide coverage under the most challenging circumstances. Please note that the item for sale does not include the optional mounting plate (correct part number would be 20.5 STX-MP). Also, the installation manual that came with the mount is the 20.5 STX-MP - the model that comes with a wall mounting plate. Installation method is the same, except that a mounting accessory is needed - please see below. The 20.5 STX WHT requires choosing an accessory that will attach to a surface, pipe or all-thread rod. CA mounting plates, C-clamps, pipe adapters, thread couplers and vibration isolators are accessories that attach to the thread of the OmniMount tube.
