This vintage watch is originally very rare and collectable, therefore remains the preference of the Officers Luftwaffe WWII. This watch from pocket was altered in wrist watch. The watch has original nickel chrome case which signed "OMEGA" and serial number: 5015338. This watch has two rear covers - external and internal. The presence of the inner lid - this is a good sign of quality watch. It is used to protect the mechanism from dust and to provide added protection from moisture. Also surface of this lid fully engraved six medals with exquisite miniature detailing in the center and inscription OMEGA GRAND PRIX PARIS 1900. This was to commemorate Omega’s Grand Prize award at the 1900 Paris Watch Fair. This watch has original Beautiful Silvered High-Grade movement which signed "OMEGA" and serial number: 4205046. This number dates this watch in period 1912-1916 as per published production numbers. The dial is original but only professionally repainted and restored is in excellent condition. On the dial, hours markers and watch hands are fluorescent (luminous in dark). On face side, dome glass is plastic (Plexi-glass). To the watch a NEW watchband is added in a GIFT. The watch has been restored, checked and calibrated by a master watchmaker and is in good running condition. This unique watch was kept till our time in very good condition.
