Dial has a slight discoloration at the 4 and 5 o'clock batons, hard to see When I first got this watch, the case was a mix of darkish bronze / some gold color plating that was chipped and peeling with lots of uneven wear and dings. It had a 10k thin plate of 1-2 microns of gold, mostly gone. Based on my research the base metal is a somewhat hard brass alloy. The case was cleaned, buffed and sealed with Everbrite ProtectaClear sealer for metal to assure it stays brite and does not ever discolor again. The photos are many months after the case refurbishing took place, still remaining shiny with no discoloration. It is not perfect, there are still some tiny nicks, review all photos. Crown logo is worn, I can't make out what it is. According to the serial number, which is in the 44,000,000 – 44,999,999 range, this watch was made in 1980 Sold as is
