Description: OLYMPIA "OLY" BEER "IT'S THE WATER" CERAMIC GOOD LUCK HORSESHOE draft beer tap handle. Olympia, Washington. Originally founded in 1896 by Friederich Schmidt as the Capitol brewing Company. In 1902 it was named Olympia. Sold in 1983 to Heilman and later acquired by Pabst in 1999 and they faded the beer away in 2003. **Miller was contracted recently by Pabst to brew this beer in California. This piece was released almost 10 years ago. Not many have been seen. Tap is listed as used although I am pretty sure it was not. It remains in excellent condition but has a tiny chip next to the 'K' as seen highlighted in second to last picture. Very small, not a deal breaker. Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. Composed of high-quality resin that appears and feels like ceramic. Beautiful 2-sided creation with a golden good Luck horseshoe at the top and a bundle of golden wheat and hop leaves on both sides. Part of their classic label with the bridge and waterfall scene inside the shoe. O-L-Y in raised graphics outlined in black right down the front. Above that shows "It's The Water" in red script. Lower portion shows a continuous row of pine trees that wraps around the base and the year it was established. Really nice piece. Stands 11 inches tall. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured. I try to take great photos and write accurate descriptions so you can judge for yourself.
