The ribbon is 1/2 inch wide. The ribbon is 12 yds long. Our plastic spools are the only ones available that specifically fit the antique Oliver Typewriters. These are actual working ribbons not display ribbons you can use these to type with. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR OLIVER NO. 5 OWNERS: If you have an Oliver number 5 and it has a backspacer lever use this 1/2 ribbon. If your machine does not have a backspacer use the 7/16" ribbon.
