Description: This listing is for an Old Antique Pennsylvania Primitive Farmhouse Wooden Dough (etc) Bowl with original Blue / teal Paint. This Handmade piece has a gorgeous patina to the paint and fantastic naturally worn finish on the inside. It comes from the estate of a Western PA collector, which also included ancient pottery, baskets, and other notable primitives. I assume its 19th Century, but it could be 18th. Its slightly oblong shape shows it was hand made, not turned. Unfortunately this one came without any provenance, and I have not been able ti find out much about its origins. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor. It is in good condition, with no major damage. No cracking / separation or chipping.
