Description: Up for consideration is a set of RARE antique circa 1860-1880 Old Hall England E'ware MOTHER HUBBARD dessert or salad plates. The plates measure 8 1/4" diameter. These lovely pieces are off white with a dark blue or black (you decide-I think black) transfer ware design of a young girl in a dress & bonnet with a very detailed fruit garland on the verge. The plates are in good condition considering the age---no cracks or repairs. There is moderate glaze crazing, numerous glaze nicks on the rims & some light discoloration. Please see photos for condition. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have a question. Almost everything that I am selling is pre-owned or vintage. I will mention any major defects or flaws.
