This flywheel is the smaller diameter version with 153 teeth on the ring gear. This will fit all internally balanced Small and Big Block Chevy engines from 1955-1986. This includes 265, 283, 302, 327, 350, 396, and 427 engines. Please confirm your specific application based on the casting number and ring gear size. The casting number is 3791021 as shown. The date code is H 31 2. Like other classic car drivetrain components, the parts need to be the correct part number and date code in order to be considered number's matching. Items like flywheels did not used to be looked at as important in regards to part numbers and date codes. As the hobby has progressed, parts like this flywheel are considered part of the package in order for a vehicle to be full number's matching. Don't miss this real deal original example. The ring gear looks nice with no major wear or missing teeth. The clutch contact surface is quite nice with some light staining from a clutch being in the same position for decades. It looks like this flywheel was surfaced and had a clutch installed but was never ran. I decided to leave the resurfacing to the buyer since it will be fresh when you are ready to install and some shops like to do the resurfacing in conjunction with any balancing that is being done.
