Description: A Near Mint Shepard Fairey 2003 "Obey Marilyn" Postcard published by the Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. The image on the postcard became known as "Marilyn Warhol" after the image was included in Shepard Fairey's first museum exhibition at the ICA, Boston. The image is a mashup of Andy Warhol's Marilyn Monroe with Fairey's Andre the Giant image. I have never come across one of these and it is certainly rare to find a 21 year old postcard in this condition. This would look phenomenal matted and framed. The Postcard has been stored and protected in an acid free art binder. It has no fading or markings. Please message with any questions. Thank you.
