Description: For sale is a superb figurine of a cat (likely a Persian or Himalayan ) made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century . It was first designed by August Goehring and is an exquisite porcelain cat. Very well modeled and painted just enough to make it look real with blue eyes. The large cat measures 11.125 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 7.25 inches deep. It is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath with the model number 567 with 5 under it and the green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg and Western Germany which dates it to after WWII. The figure is in perfect condition with the except the bottom which has a little residual glue from a protective cloth that was glued to the bottom and has been removed. No chips.
