Description: Very rare TakahiroMiyashita TheSoloist sweater from their A/W 19 season, titled “1one my way/I LIVE NOW”, featuring the season’s signature multi-zippered patchwork design and the three Levi Pata poems “The Flow”, “Year of the Bat”, and “Complete Nocturne”. Beautiful attention to detail is visible throughout the entire piece. The fabric is a comfortable, fine-staple cotton that allows the piece to drape beautifully yet still support the unzipped parts of the sweater. The sweater is tagged size 48 but fits very oversized (basically OS) and the zippers can be used to further modify the silhouette. Please see measurements for more detail. Despite the obviously high expectations, the show succeeded in blowing all of them out of the water. The collection varied in mood from patchwork workwear and streetwear with bondage twists, to more utilitarian militaristic looks, all adorned with poems written by Levi Pata, a friend of Takahiro Miyashita. The boots used in some looks were based off of vintage Bata Mickey military boots a la Raf Simons A/W 14. While not all pieces from the show are necessarily very versatile without being in the context of similar pieces, this sweater is arguably one of the easiest articles to style from the season.
