Description: Classic open-front cardigan from TALBOTS WOMAN. Fine rib knit at the edges, cuffs, and hem. The fabric is a fine, soft merino wool. The color is burgundy red - more zinfandel (deep) than claret. IMHO, the best color representation is the photo that shows the label. Please allow for differences in the color display on different computer monitors. I try to describe it accurately, but such are my photography skills. Condition: Excellent - new is new. No rips, tears, stains, pulls, weird smells, etc. It has been carefully stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home. I'm helping my sister is do a good Kondo-style cleanout to make more room in the closet, and she has more than a few cardigans. Brand: Talbots Woman Size on Label: 2X, but please see measurements below for best fit. Fabric: 100% merino wool. The label says to dry clean only. Measurements: taken on the garment laid down flat, unstretched, measuring straight across, i.e. double for bust, sweep at the hem. The measurements are taken with the front edges touching. Please compare these measurements to a similar garment in style and fabric that fits you well.
