Description: New in original box, 1995 Christian Dior Barbie (never taken out of box), #13168, with original shipping box. This item is in mint condition and has been stored in its shipper box with original tissue paper wrap. This is the first of two Dior Barbie Designer Series and is a Limited Edition. She wears a gold/black/red metallic brocade gown with beading and rhinestones. She was the first to have the designer label inside of gown and fashion is not removeable. This fashion is a work of art that is a Gianfranco Ferre design (a full size version still resides in the Musee Grevin in Paris). Her hair is styled in a soft chignon with gold color leaf earrings. This doll is from the Timeless Creations specialty doll division of Mattel. Box contains doll, top, skirt, earrings, doll stand Christian Dior Barbie booklet and registration card. Please see scans.
