Description: NOS! Vintage Polished Cast Brass Transom Catch w/ Strike, Sloped Case This listing is for one (1) high-quality vintage Brass Transom Catch with matching Strike. The new old stock is in very good, unused condition with surface scratches, discoloration, and blemishes consistent with age and loose storage. The solid cast brass case (sloped sides) measures approximately 2 ¼” by 1 7/16” and is ½” thick. The brass ring has 15/16” OD and a 7/16” ID for use with pole hooks. The spring latch has a nice, smooth action. The Strike measures 1 ¾” tall and 2” wide where the screw holes are and 1 ¼” wide at the catch hole. No screws are included. The vintage transom lock weighs about 2.7 ounces. A high-quality American-style transom catch, Ives No. 80 size. Attention Antique & Vintage Window Restorers!
