NOS TOEI 650b bicycle frame and detachable lowrider touring racks Chris King S&S

Description: TOEI (Japan) 650b touring frame, fork and racks. 1" threaded headset Ordered in 2009 and was finished in 2010. Never fully assembled. Wheels were put into the dropouts so there is evidence of that. Only got as far as having a Chris King "2Nut" headset installed by frame builder Ed Litton of Richmond, California. Local pickup possible after payment (94590 Vallejo California) and I can be available at a mutually agreed upon time.58.5cm center-center seat tube and 57cm top tube c-c. Built for me as a 190 lb. 6 ft tall human at the time with the expectation of using it for bike touring/camping with loaded panniers. 1" threaded Chris King headset. I'll include the special TOEI cantilever brake adapter bolts for the front rack/fork/brakes and the TOEI rear brake cable hanger. The cable hanger installed in the front with the headset is also made by TOEI Serial number 27127. This bike is designed for 650b x 42mm tires such as the Grand Bois Hetre with fenders (no fenders included). The front rack has dual light mounts, or one mount could be used for a GoPro or similar camera. The right fork blade has external cable routing for a dynamo powered headlight. It has 130mm rear dropout spacing. It is worth mentioning that although this bike has S&S couplers, there is no way it will fit in a standard 26"x26" S&S case due to the design of the Rene Herse-style lowrider racks and that the threaded headset means it isn't as easy to remove the fork temporarily as would be the case with a threadless system. I ordered this in 2009 via Hiroshi Iimura of Jitensha Studio, Berkeley and received it in 2010. This bike remained in storage at my parents' place for years and I never got around to building it up apart from having Ed Litton (Richmond CA frame builder) install a Chris King 2Nut headset and to mount a set of wheels. It has never been ridden. Note: the panniers shown in one photo are not included. This listing is for the frame, fork, headset (installed), front and rear racks, front cable hanger (installed), TOEI front adapter bolts for mounting the front rack onto the cantilever studs, and TOEI rear cable hanger. Another photo shows in the window of Jitensha Studio in 2010. Obviously the other frame and stuff in the display are not included in this listing. I have additional pictures. The option to add the S&S couplers was more than $1600 and the racks were around $2500 apart from the frame/fork/cable hangers/brake adapter bolts. It will take me a few days to get this packaged up correctly before shipping it particularly as I need to acquire a few boxes and other packing materials.
