Although it is "new" without the package, it was probably made in the 1970s, or even earlier. There is moderate corrosion on the mounting clip, but none on the cartridge itself. I tested it thoroughly to be sure it works correctly, so you can buy with confidence. I have inspected it visually under high magnification, checked it electronically, and tested it for sound production. It works as it should. Check out the photos to see what is included.
