Description: New old stockGM accessory# 986249 for 1948 Chevrolet passenger cars. This is a 'Fil-Gard' fuel tank signal alarm. Very unique accessory for 1948. The original GM tag was very rough and falling apart, so we made a copy of the tag. The copy shows the front and back of the tag. The original tag will not be included, it fell apart making this copy. The Fil-Gard has its little noise-maker rattle but expect some shelf wear, it was found loose in a Chevy garage just as you see it. Look at photos. Could fit other years or brands, but only purchase if you know for sure. Parts book only shows 1948 Chevy.
