Description: Very nice set of 3 pieces of Noritake "Sweet Swirl" in Dark Blue (Midnight) : 2 Water Goblets and 1 Double Old Fashioned Tumbler which are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratching or cloudiness. These pieces have been well cared for. This is a lovely color and one of the most popular colors of Sweet Swirl - it's also rather difficult to find pieces in good condition, especially the DOF tumbler. The goblets are large enough to use for iced tea and measure 7 3/8 inches in height with a diameter at upper rim of 3 1/2 inches. The DOF tumbler measures 4 inches in height and has a diameter at upper rim of 3 3/4 inches. Sweet Swirl is an iconic glassware design with graceful embossed swirl pattern from base to about 1 inch below rim. The base on the goblets is wide and the stem is heavy so they are very stable and won't tip over easily. Dark Blue Sweet Swirl was produced from 1985 - 2005 and was very popular. I have priced these pieces at a fraction of price on replacement sites. 1. All items I sell either come from or have been stored in a smoke free environment and are sold “as-is”.
