Description: NOEL HARRISON - "THE WINDMILLS OF YOUR MIND" REPRISE 1968 UK 7" SINGLE ARTIST - NOEL HARRISON TRACKS - "THE WINDMILLS OF YOUR MIND" b/w "LEITCH ON THE BEACH" FORMAT - vinyl 7" single OTHER DETAILS - • Reprise RS.20758, 1968 UK pressing • Paper labels, 4-prong centre • Reprise company sleeve Son of the actor Rex Harrison, Noel hit the big time when he recorded "The Windmills of Your Mind", the theme tune from the film 'The Thomas Crown Affair' which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1968, and was also a Top 10 hit in the UK Singles Chart. Despite the song winning the 1968 Oscar for best original song, Harrison did not sing it at the ceremony (his place was taken by Jose Feliciano), because he was working on the film, 'Take A Girl Like You in England', with Oliver Reed and Hayley Mills. The sleeve shows signs of age (see pictures), the record is visually VG+/EX with just the odd very light and hairline surface mark only. VINYL GRADING NEW: note that still sealed items will be presumed to be in 'new' condition, but are obviously sold as seen. Any visible signs of wear/storage etc. beneath the shrinkwrap will be mentioned. MINT: note please note that I will NEVER use the 'MINT' grade, as I think you are asking for trouble! The highest grade for an item that is not new will use will be NM (Near Mint). NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in very close to 'as new' condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in almost perfect condition. EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played a number of times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and maybe some occasional light scratches. If there is any surface noise it will be occasional, light and unobtrusive. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD (G): The record has obviously been played a lot and while it still plays through OK, it will have a lot of surface marks and/or light scratches (maybe also the occasional 'feelable' scratch) and most likely there there will be regular and noticeable surface noise. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine and/or seam splits, discoloration, etc. TERMS & CONDITIONS *Important* - the ONLY countries I will send to by uninsured mail are as follows: - UK. Europe (EU countries ONLY and Norway). USA and Canada. Australia, New Zealand and Japan. If you live anywhere else then your parcel MUST be insured, the cost of which is to be covered by the buyer. If you live in a country that I am prepared to send by regular, uninsured mail please bear in mind that I always get a receipt and proof of posting for every item sent, but THERE WILL NOT BE A TRACKING NUMBER UNLESS YOU HAVE PAID FOR INSURED/TRACKED MAIL. Should an item take longer than expected to arrive, I will do everything I can to help, but please don't assume that there is a tracking number!
