Description: Nippon Moriage Open Handled Oval Serving Bowl Dish 10" 1920s Blue Pink Gold Tone Pre-owned item in great condition for the age. There are six small circle indentations on the top. I am not sure if this is how it was made. I have this shown in picture 2. Also on the bottom it looks like a past owner had applied a green felt to avoid damage. I have this shown in picture of bottom. Some paint wear on hold tone trim shown in pictures. There is a line along the side which I show in picture. This looks like this was done in manufacturing as it isn't sharp like a crack. I have this shown in picture. Please review all pictures for best and most accurate description. It is a gorgeous piece and the flaws are not that noticeable but I try to thoroughly inspect and list everything I can see. When doing some research I found the maker's mark is a cherry blossom which would have been the mark that was used by Nippon when they sub-contracted independent companies to make porcelain for the US market around 1924. Plate is 10-1/2" x 5-1/8" x 1-1/4", weighs 10.8oz Buyer to pay sales tax and shipping. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for looking.
