Description: Nippon Era Shimamura Hand Painted Pink Rose Green & Gold Beaded Footed Bowl Very beautiful porcelain bowl with three cabriolet legs. Nicely painted with a dark pink rose in the center. Surrounded by 6 large pink roses. Each large rose is surrounded by a band of gold beading. There are 3 pink and 3 yellow roses in between the larger roses. These are all surrounded by dark green with light green leaves and gold scrollwork overlay. The edge of the plate is decorated heavy gold encrusted scrollwork. The legs have light green and gold gilt highlights. There are 6 small pink roses around the outside of the bowl. The bottom is painted with three Asian characters. Another seller says this mark is Shimamura. Made during the Nippon era. Has some wear to the gold gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 7 1/2 inches wide x 2 1/2 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. QHX
