Description: I’m saying goodbye to my 600mm f/4 Ai-s. This is a manual focus lens made originally for film Nikons, which is exactly what I’ve been shooting with this lens. I have been very pleased with the results but I have been looking to downsize a little bit recently. The lens operates as if new, with the manual focus ring turning very smoothly and the aperture is snappy and easy to change. The covering on the lens for the focus ring and for the focus limiter can be removed for ease of use, but they are pictured as being on. There is a small amount of fungus on the outer edges of the rear elements as well as a bit of dust, but it has never bothered me and I haven’t sought to have it cleaned. The front protective glass has a few small scratches and swirls, but it is not overwhelmingly so, and can only be seen in certain light. There is also a bit of fungus at the very edges. It shouldn’t affect the image quality at all. I currently have a camouflage covering on the lens. but underneath the cover, it is in gorgeous condition. You can see what it looks like without the Lens Coat on the final few pictures on the listing. I have not taken off the cover in quite some time so it should still be scratch free underneath. A few spots on the camo cover are a little worn from hiking but it is still totally serviceable and looks good. The included trunk has a few straps that came with it when I bought it. One is for the lens’s strap lugs, and the other is an extra camera strap. There is also a storage compartment on the right side that has a few odds and ends in it. I’ve used this lens quite a bit and I have done my best to take care of it. I have loved it a lot and I hope you love it too. It’s been on many adventures and it’s ready for the next one!
