Often referred to as “Pikaichi”, meaning “top notch” in Japanese, this camera has a sharp 35mm f/2.8 lens. Cosmetic condition is excellent but please review the photos as they are part of the description. You will a touch of paint loss on the famous Nikon red stripe. This camera has been film-tested with a roll of Kentmere Pan 400 and results were excellent. Everything works including the self-timer and the +2 EV lever. With 46mm filter threads, this camera will meter correctly with a filter attached - very convenient - great for black and white photography. Viewfinder is clear and bright. Camera comes with the original lens cap, strap, manual and box with inserts. Vertical strap lugs make carrying this camera a pleasure! The battery cover is in good condition but please be aware that the battery cover is typically the Achilles heel of this model - it’s very flimsy.
