Tagged size 10 → This is likely the last batch of these ever produced as they were made on April 6th 1997, just eleven days after the Heaven's Gate mass suicide was reported. Absolutely iconic pair of shoes, people have been hunting for these for nearly 30 years due to their scarcity and insane history. This pair is priced for offers — I sold my last pair of these in the same condition for $1800 in March of 2021 and the hype and scarcity are only going up as people are not willing to sell their pairs as time goes on. Seeing as this is likely the last batch ever made, I am looking for more than what I sold my last pair for a few years ago. Due to the age of the shoe, they are still wearable, but I would remain cautious doing anything too extracurricular in them. Nike shoes tend to start to crumble or have the soles de-glue after ~30 years depending on the storage conditions and climate. I live in Los Angeles so they're still wearable but I would not recommend taking them hiking, into wet climates, or storing them in a place that's not temperature-controlled if you're a collector.
