Description: Presented is a woven silver wire napkin ring from the late 1800s. This piece was probably made in either America or China, both places are known for similar wire-work, but we are unsure exactly where. The ring has a small shield on the front which is monogrammed “AE” in a shape which fills the whole space. This piece is in great condition. The silver wire holds firmly. The shield is securely attached. The inside has no sharp point where wire is sticking out. The weave creates a smooth exterior.
