Description: THIS LOT CONTAINS A COLLECTION OF NINE (9) DIFFERENT POSTAL AND POSTAL REPLY CARDS FROM NICARAGUA IN FINE-VERY FINE MINT NEVER HINGED CONDITION. Our reference for postal stationery is the Higgins & Gage (HG) Specialty catalog of Worldwide Stationery, and it is seldom updated. The most recent edition is from 1980 -- 40+ years ago. There are a total of nine (9) cards -- six (6)) are postal cards, three (3) are postal reply cards -- they are all identified on the back with light erasable pencil. The postal reply cards project to the right in the photos for easy identification, only the face is shown as they are folded as is the custom, postal reply cards (#43) is severed and is missing corner as can be seen in the photo, priced according. The H & G catalog numbers are #40-43, 41a, 44-46, 48, they were issued between 1898-1901. They are fresh and bright, and are in fine-very fine mint condition.
