CLERMONT, Ind. - No. 1 seed Matt Hines will attempt to earn his fourth straight victory in the Holley Pro Stock Dominator Duel, a special event for NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle competitors Sept. 4 during the 45th U.S. Nationals at Indianapolis Raceway Park. The total purse for the ninth annual Holley Pro Stock Dominator Duel is $36,000. The winner will earn $15,000. Any rider who can win the Duel and the U.S. Nationals on Sept. 6 will earn a $10,000 bonus from the NHRA. The Duel runner-up will earn $5,000. The two semi-finalists will earn $3,000 each, while the four first-round finishers will earn $2,500 apiece. Two-time NHRA Winston Pro Stock Motorcycle champion Hines, from Trinidad, Colo., has dominated the event during the last three seasons.
