Description: The Starvis sensor in this webcam is good at low light. It has two 1/8" microphone inputs to hook up lav or video mics, which is very useful. You do not need the remote the camera because Nexigo (American company) has one of the best camera control apps in the industry and you can pan, tilt, and zoom with the mouse using sliders in the app. The stereo mics are better than average. The MJPEG is low noise with good colors. The cord is 10 feet long. Most webcams that claim to be USB 3.0 are actually running USB 2.0 speed with lower latency from USB 3.0. It's a USB 2.0 webcam with good PHY (i.e. chip that talks to the PC via USB) so there is no YUY2, but it's one of the best MJPEG I've seen, and you can focus the lens easily. It's always best if you buy multiple of the same webcam to do multicast sets. It would be great to pick up a few of these without the remote for cheap. They have tripod mount. I lost the remote in my studio somewhere. If I find the remote I will be putting it up fro sale for $15 plus shipping and I will notify you.
