Description: This great collage honors New York State's famed Irish Brigade otherwise known as "The Fighting 69th". The Brigade was led by General Thomas Francis Meagher. The collage features a picture of the Brigade Flag presented to the unit by the citizens of New York with its many battles listed on the flag. Highlighting the collage is the First Day Cover of a stamp issued to honor the state of New York as the 11th state of the Union. This 10” x 13” picture will fit any 10" x 13" frame. (a standard size). Solid Oak frames are available for an additional $20 with no increase in shipping charges. (This option does not apply when shipping outside the US. Please inquire as to what options are available.) I make all these collages by hand. As a history buff as well as a lover of old movies and all types of sports, the key to each picture is the research behind it. Deciding what movies should go with a particular star or what game or series would best reflect a certain sports hero is crucial to a successful collage. I then design each picture individually and lay out the design on the mat. Finally, I cut each mat based on that design and assemble the collage. Shipping and Handling is free for the United States.
