Description: You are buying a rare 8 X 10 B&W photo of Dan Gurney's Lotus 19 Ford on the banking during the 1964 American Challenge race at Daytona. Gurney and Foyt swapped the lead 16 times during the first half of the race until Gurney pitted and was disqualified for a push start. Foyt went on to the victory. This is a true 8 X 10 with no borders printed at a photolab on archival photo paper from a negative taken by Bill Brannon, a photojournalist and regional editor of Competition Press (now Autoweek) in the 1960's. This photo has never been published before. See my store for more auto racing photos from 1960's races at Daytona, Sebring, Road America and more. Buyer pays $3.95 shipping in continental U.S. Combined shipping on additional items. Thanks for looking! I retain all COPYRIGHTS to this image. Copying is strictly prohibited.
