The company's original name was in fact Ser Jacopo dalla Gemma. There are 5 Gem Series Grades. This pipe is a Diamond /Brillante which is the highest grade.Here are the grades of the Gem series category: Diamond / BrillanteRubino / RubySapphire / ZaffiroGarnet / GranatoEmerald / Smeraldo This pipe was made in 2004. It is a very large pipe and is stamped MAXIMA MAXIMA MAXIMA. The plateaux remains on the top of the bowl which is quite rare for Ser Jacopo. The band is 18k gold, and the stem logo is a diamond set in an 18k gold setting. The pipe will be packaged in a large presentation box as seen in one of the photos. It will also come with a vintage leather Ser Jacopo pipe sleeve which dates to the very beginning (1982/1983) of Ser Jacopo. However, the pipe is too large for the vintage leather sleeve.
