Description: A wonderful framed black and white lithograph, circa 1970's, by famous American/New Orleans artist George B Luttrell II (1930-2000). It features a character drawing of the great clarinetist, Pierre Dewey Lafontaine Jr (Pete Fountain - 1930-2016). Pete Fountain became a household name when he appeared on the Lawrence Well television show for a period in the 1950's and went on to fame in the New Orleans night-life. The print measures 4 1/4" by 6 1/4" in size and is framed in a simple metal frame of the period. A paper backing from the original framer is dated 1972. The print is marked "Pete Fountain - New Orleans - Luttrell II". A great piece of New Orleans and music history. **PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS, IF YOU HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK, THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION** Frame shows wear, and litho needs recentered so new frame maybe good.
