Description: New CD MESHUGGAH -CHAOSPHERE- from Japan Description Description An early masterpiece by the pioneers of djent, Meshuggah, is back! Extremely complex rhythm work and otherworldly guitar solos by Fredrik Thordendal. With the remaster, you can enjoy their essence more clearly! Meshuggah of Sweden are pioneers of the so-called djent and metalcore genres. The influence they have had on subsequent bands is immeasurable. They were formed in 1987. After releasing several demos, they signed with Nuclear Blast, an up-and-coming label at the time. Their debut album [Contradictions Collapse] released in 1991 still showed a musicality that could be classified as thrash metal, but their next album [Destroy, Erase, Improve] (1995) suddenly awakened them. This work, which incorporated influences from jazz guitarists such as Allan Holdsworth, was the true starting point of Meshuggah. With each subsequent album, their style became more and more complex. Meshuggah became one of the most cutting-edge bands in the extreme metal world. In particular, no one would disagree that their album [ObZen] released in 2008 is their masterpiece and stands tall in the extreme metal world. Now, their third album [Chaosphere] (1998) is being reissued to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its release. Extremely complex rhythm work and Fredrik Thordendal's otherworldly guitar solos. With the remastering, the essence of this work, known as Meshuggah's early masterpiece, can be enjoyed more clearly.
