It is like having a variable length and tension hammer spring.It is variable, so it can increase spring power to the hammer cycle AND it can decrease spring power to the hammer cycle. You choose.Machined and assembled right here in the USA.Yes, it is a little pricey. There is lots of machine time and parts in this little beauty. It should easily last a lifetime.This is made to last and features all metal construction.The body is satin black. The knurled handle is gloss black. Installation is simple: Remove the rear trigger frame screw into the tube, then remove the top rear breech screw into the tube (hold on as you do this because the old spring is pushing outward on it), remove the old hammer spring and the end cap, and finally replace with this new PA (power adjuster).This part is made in the USA.This Custom part is freshly new (not old stock) and has never been used or installed.
