Nepenthes xHookeriana 'Hoeue Riana'

Description: This is a listing for one Nepenthes xHookeriana 'Hoeue Riana'. N. xHookeriana is a hybrid between N. ampullaria and N. rafflesiana. N. ampullaria is a famous lowland Nepenthes that produces cup-like pitchers that sprawls along the forest floor catching leaf litter and small insects. Lower pitchers clump and are round with a circular opening and a small lid. The upper pitchers are almost nonexistent. N. ampullaria is known to basal a lot. N. rafflesiana is another lowland pitcher plant that has large wings, a large neck. Forms of this species can vary a lot with some forms having frilled 'wings' that go to the tendrils. N. xHookeriana is a hybrid between these two species and produces rounded, squat pitchers with large wings. This clone is a clone produced by PetFlyTrap. This plant grows fairly well in lowland conditions. This plant was taken as a basal from my mother plant about a year ago and is well rooted. This plant hardened to standard greenhouse conditions. Humidity should be kept at 70% or higher with decent airflow. You are expected to have some experience with growing Nepenthes before you purchase. It's not a hard plant to grow. The plant shown in the pictures is the exact one you will receive. The cup noodle is for scale. The plant is growing in a 2.5 inch pot in a 50/50 mix of sphagnum moss and perlite. The leaf span is 5.5 inches from tip to tip. The largest pitcher is 3 inches tall. The image is the exact specimen of what you will receive. Care instructions will be provided with packing. These plants are pest-free and have been growing in my grow tent. My conditions are: 85F days, 70F nights in the summer and 83F days, 63F nights in the winter. Humidity is 65-85%. I keep these under 6500K lights. No international sales either because I also don't have paperwork for export. Please be mindful of your weather.
