This hand wrought sterling silver 23 inches long NECKLACE is Artisan perfection and is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! The pendant is ONE inch wide and high and a half inch in depth. The dimensionality of the piece is enhanced with round silver beads and 6 smaller cubes that are each a half inch in size. It is very beautiful with wonderful precise craftsmanship, and is in good vintage condition. It will arrive in a gift box. It is signed on the back: Sterling with the image of a capital letter K and a wing, signifying the mark of KNIFEWING. He worked out of Gallup, New Mexico, near Zuni lands and his designs reflect Zuni influences of precise and colorful stone inlay. Ray Tracey & Knifewing Segura were a Navajo-Apache team in Native American Silverwork. This sterling silver inlay necklace is the result of their rare inter-tribal collaboration, as for a short period of time, Knifewing Segura was a partner and design collaborator with Ray Tracey, both well-known and award winning jewelry designers and silversmiths. This very interesting duo worked well together, creating a fantastic example of beautiful Native American art with simple natural beauty, and exquisite stone inlay implementing craftsmanship in high-quality sterling silver. This vintage necklace is a signed piece by Ray Tracey and Knifewing Segura. This is a rare and really great Native American necklace from two top jewelry makers of the late 20th century. Overall condition is good used Estate Condition with some small light dings and some fine really light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
